The Network Controller (LNC) with up to four System Interface Modules (SIM) or up to two Intelligent Interface Modules (IIM), depending on the application. The ESM™ is a modular system that can be customized to fit a customer's requirements and system, and can control up to 8 channels with a single unit.

Network Controller (LNC)
The Network Controller (LNC) contains the Central Processor Unit that provides control for a maximum of eight channels via the attached SIM or IIM modules. The LNC also has the ability to provide remote communications. The software can be remotely monitor the operation of any ESM™ installation either through PC, LAN, or modem connection.

System Interface Module (SIM)
The System Interface Module (SIM) is connected in series with the air conditioning or refrigeration control circuit to optimize the compressor or compressor capacity control operation.

Intelligent Interface Module (IIM)

The Intelligent Interface Module (IIM) is used in place of the standard SIMs when a temperature reset must be used during savings periods or when a slide valve is controlling the compressor capacity. Up to two IIMs can be connected in series to a single LNC.
